Most people would rather die than think, and most people do.

In America

Lispet Queen of Nowire's picture

Despite the title, this movie has very little "ra ra USA".

An Irish family comes to the states to get away from the memory of their dead son. It's a tear-jerker in a hopeful, optimistic kind of way. There's magic and faith--christian faith, but not in-your-face preaching or anything remotely like that. There's one sex scene which earns the flick a PG-13 restricted rating--no swearing, no violence. The sex scene isn't even graphic and it's told from the point of view of a ten year old. Go figure.

Watch it. It's good.
