So far two days of "sunrise" and still no sun in set. Maybe the third day will get it done, but I think the little strip of cloud along the horizon may be too much.
Of course, I should really be sleeping not waiting for the 1:22 sunrise.

FYI, yes, that meant - still nothing.
On a positive note, there is a large helium balloon floating in the centre of town. It gives us something to stare at.

Just some clouds plus even terrain can block it in the first few days. It's only "up" for about 25 mins on the first day, you don't ever see it.
I actually saw it today - YAY!!!!!! At about 1:30, for a few minutes, a hazy glow through some wispy clouds and heavy ice crystals.
